The situation

Changing menu prices published as browsable pages.

Menu prices change often and differ by location and by source. A platform that publishes them has to collect data that keeps changing and present it so that both search engines and people can read it.

What we built

The parts that do the work

01 / 03

Data collection

Source information is normalised into a structured application model rather than stored as loose text, so the same dish at two locations is comparable.

02 / 03

Administration

A Filament admin gives operators the tools to correct records and manage public content without touching the database directly.

03 / 03

Public delivery

Server-rendered pages present the structured records as browsable pages that search engines can index.

How it came together

From the brief to what changed after

  1. 01

    Approach

The project combines a data pipeline, an administrative application and public pages. Structured records link the collected data to the public pages.

    2. 02Structured records
    3. 03Application review
    4. 04Public pages
  2. 02

    The stack, and why

Laravel and PHP run the pipeline and the admin, with Filament as the admin interface, and Next.js renders the public pages. Keeping collection separate from presentation keeps a slow, retry-heavy pipeline away from the requests that users and crawlers make.

  3. 03

    After launch

The design centres on the admin layer. Price data goes stale, and the people maintaining it need to fix records without a developer.

A founder-operated engineering project covering data ingestion and the application around it. We make no claim here about search traffic or rankings.
