the opportunity

A good setup includes the recovery plan.

We begin with the workloads, current access and operational responsibilities. From there we scope the infrastructure, the deployment process and the checks needed to keep the setup manageable.

A good fit for

Businesses preparing a migration, deploying an application or taking ownership of an existing hosting setup.

What we work toward

A documented hosting setup, deployment or migration plan with clear operational responsibilities.

recognize the problem

Common problems.

01 / 03

No clear picture of the server

Workloads, access and dependencies need to be understood before configuration changes.

02 / 03

A migration has no rollback plan

Cutover, validation and recovery steps should be defined before the move.

03 / 03

Backups are assumed to work

Retention and restore checks need to be part of the operational plan.

what is included

What the work covers.

The final scope depends on your current setup and priorities. These are the main areas we cover.

01

Server setup

Linux/VPS configuration, hosting control panels where needed and application deployment requirements.

02

Migrations

A documented move with prerequisites, validation, cutover steps and a rollback approach.

03

Backups & monitoring

Agreed backup destinations, retention, alerts and restore checks appropriate to the workload.

04

Ongoing management

Maintenance responsibilities, access records and support coverage defined in an ongoing agreement.

a practical workflow

From application inventory to a recoverable environment.

  1. 01

    Inventory the workload

Document the application, runtime, database, scheduled jobs, storage, traffic and external dependencies.

  2. 02

    Design the environment

Choose suitable hosting, access controls, deployment, backup destinations and responsibility boundaries.

  3. 03

    Deploy or migrate

Stage the workload, move files and data, coordinate DNS, validate services and keep a rollback path.

  4. 04

    Monitor and maintain

Review agreed health signals, updates and backup jobs, then investigate incidents with useful logs and ownership.

Hosting and server management can include Linux VPS setup, Docker deployment, cPanel or WHM administration, website migration, DNS coordination, backups, monitoring and application troubleshooting.

how we deliver

Infrastructure work with access, cutover and recovery planned.

  1. 01

    Technical assessment

Review the current stack, provider constraints, performance evidence, account ownership and target outcome.

  2. 02

    Recovery preparation

Secure authorized access and create the backups, exports and rollback decisions needed before changes begin.

  3. 03

    Staged implementation

Configure the environment and test deployment or migration steps before the production cutover.

  4. 04

    Verification and documentation

Check the live application, scheduled work and monitoring, then record access and operating procedures.

how wasevo helps

A server setup your business can operate.

Hosting requirements depend on the application, its data and the people responsible for it. We review the existing environment, application dependencies and expected workload before changing infrastructure. The result is an agreed hosting and deployment plan, so nobody buys a server before deciding how it will be run.

Our work can cover Linux VPS setup, web server and runtime configuration, Docker-based deployment, control-panel administration and website migrations. Access controls, service exposure and update responsibilities are part of the scope. We identify who owns the provider account and how authorized people regain access when an individual is unavailable.

Migrations need more than copying files. We account for databases, scheduled tasks, environment configuration, DNS and any email services affected by the move. The cutover plan includes validation and a defined rollback decision. A separate recovery copy should remain available until the new environment has been checked.

Ongoing administration can include updates, monitoring configuration, backup-job review and technical incident investigation. Coverage depends on the support agreement and the systems listed in it. A configured alert does not mean an engineer is watching the service at every hour.

delivery checks

What we check before handover.

Environment and access

Application dependencies, authorized users and provider-account ownership recorded.

Deployment and migration

A repeatable release or migration sequence with a validation and rollback plan.

Monitoring and recovery

Agreed service checks, backup destinations and recovery verification appropriate to the workload.

Support boundaries

Covered systems, request channels, working hours and escalation responsibilities written down.

FAQ

Hosting & server management: questions answered

Can't see yours? Ask on WhatsApp

Do you provide hosting or manage our existing server?

We can help arrange a suitable hosting setup or manage an existing environment after review. The proposal separates provider charges from setup and administration fees and names the party responsible for the hosting account.

Which server environments do you work with?

We work with Linux-based website and application hosting, VPS environments, Docker deployments and common hosting control panels. We confirm the operating system, stack and provider before accepting the work.

Can you move a live website to another host?

Yes. We plan files, databases, DNS and affected services, then agree a cutover and rollback approach. The amount of downtime depends on the application and migration method. Do not assume it will be zero.

Are backups included?

Backup configuration and review can be included. We identify what is protected, where copies are stored, retention and how we will test a restore. A successful backup job alone does not demonstrate that the application can be recovered.

Do you offer 24/7 support?

We do not promise round-the-clock coverage. We agree support hours, response targets and emergency arrangements in a written support plan. Provider uptime commitments are separate from Wasevo's administration work.

Can you handle cPanel or WHM administration?

Yes, subject to the specific environment and task. Licensing, provider restrictions and existing account structure need review. We agree the access needed and a recovery approach before making major changes.

Who owns the hosting account?

The account owner and authorized administrators are named in the agreement. We prefer a clear handover and access model so your business understands its billing, recovery options and responsibilities.

Can you investigate a slow application?

Yes. We look at the application, database, server resources and relevant logs before recommending a larger server. Infrastructure changes may not solve an inefficient query, an external API delay or a frontend problem.
